Anaïs Gaudemard is currently considered one of the best harpists and brilliant musicians of the new generation. An internationally recognized soloist, she is high valued for her generosity and charisma on stage, the great sensitivity of her playing and the richness of her sound.

The French harpist has garnered several important prizes including the 1st Prize at the prestigious International Harp Contest in Israel 2012 and the 2nd Prize & Münchener Kammerorchester Prize at the ARD Munich Competition 2016. In 2015, she received the ‚Thierry Scherz Preis‘ at the Sommets Musicaux Festival in Gstaad.

Anaïs Gaudemard stands out again by becoming « ECHO Rising Star » 2018/19 which embarked her on a fast-paced career, with regular appearances at major venues, such as the Wiener Konzerthaus, Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, Kölner Philharmonie, Barbican Center London, Philharmonie de Paris, Philharmonie du Luxembourg, Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation Lisbon, BOZAR Brussels, Palau da Musica Catalana, Festspielhaus Baden-Baden, Casa da Musica Porto, Konserthuset Stockholm and Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw among others.

Anaïs was recently on tour with Mulhouse Symphony Orchestra as artist in residence and had also the privilege to collaborate with orchestras such as the Lucerne Festival Orchestra, Münchener Kammerorchester, Symphonie-Orchester Des Bayerischen Rundfunks, Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, Israel Symphony Orchestra, Collegium Musicum Basel, WKO Heilbronn, Hong Kong Sinfonietta, Gulbenkian Orchestra in Lisbon, Ensemble Resonanz, Orchestre National d’Auvergne, etc. under the direction of Claudio Abbado, Leonard Slatkin, Kazushi Ono, Mariss Jansons, Ton Koopman, amongst others.

The 2021/22 season will see Anaïs Gaudemard recitals debut at Stiftung Mozarteum Salzburg, Montreal’s Salle Bourgie, Pistoia’s Bolognini Theater, Philharmonie de Paris. The upcoming highlights will also include the debut performances of Concertino for harp by Leo Smit with Bienne Symphony Orchestra, Harp Concerto Op.74 by Reinhold Glière with Lausanne Chamber Orchestra, Harp Concerto Op.182 by Carl Reinecke with Thüringer Symphoniker, Nü Shu by Tan Dun with Orchestre National des Pays de la Loire, as well as with Luxembourg Chamber Orchestra, Cannes Symphony Orchestra Klaipeda Chamber Orchestra and a concert tour with Pygmalion Ensemble.

Anaïs’ recordings has been warmly welcomed by the press. Her debut album « Harp Concertos » dedicated to Debussy, Boïeldieu and Ginastera on Clavès Records has been nominated at the ICMA (International Classical Music Awards). Her latest recording « Solo » released on Harmonia Mundi is a recital program by Scarlatti, Bach, Fauré, Renié, Hindemith and Hersant to great acclaim.

As a chamber musician, Anaïs regularly works with Joséphine Olech, Sindy Mohamed, Ambroisine Bré, Mairéad Hickey, Philippe Bernold and Kaspar Zehnder at Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel, Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Nantes’ Folle Journée, Frederiksvaerk festival, Heidelberger Frühling Festival, Reims’ Flâneries Musicales, Hindsgavl festival, Musée d’Orsay Auditorium.

Anaïs is a recipient of the Banque Populaire Foundation and the dedicatee of works by Pierre-Adrien Charpy, Esteban Benzecry and Camille Pépin composers. She also likes to devote herself teaching and researching new and unexplored repertoires.

Anaïs Gaudemard plays on a ‚Style 23 Gold Concert Grand Harp‘, offered by the harp maker Lyon & Healy at the 18th International Contest in Israel.
