FRENCH TRIOS
Harp prodigy Xavier de Maistre is back at Claves with an album of trios dedicated to France. Solo harpist in the ranks of the legendary Vienna Philharmonic, he shares the stage on this recording with flutist Gaby Pas-Van Riet (who likewise appears here for the second time for Claves following a recording featuring flute duos and trios with Peter-Lukas Graf) and violist Gunter Teuffel. Xavier de Maistre is also in the process of preparing a third recording for next winter, arrangements of popular works for solo harp.
